what i’ve learned so far:
1 lunch breaks can range from a 5 minute trip to the canteen to dabao food, to a 3 hour trip to novena when cursed (or blessed, whichever way you see it) with a downpour

2 working in the creative industry does not guarantee a lovely fun wacky exciting creative work environment, especially if the firm you work in is a rather big corporate company. the pantry’s pretty kewl though there’s xbox and wii and pool and a foosball table, plus lots of snacks and drinks :3

3 biometric systems are not flawless. i have been locked out for five minutes because the fingerprint analyzing machine thing refused to acknowledge both my index fingers’ prints T_T

the upcoming week is going to be long. thank goodness for little pockets of time i get to spend with people i have hardly seen. it’s the little things that count. 

so this week i will be seeing sarah and hoiyan to celebrate sarah’s birthday, and seeing jananii to catch up and stuff, and spending time with xianrong, before another long hectic week comes up. then it’s suntan + laneway weekend, which will be amazing, and another week of internship. after that i will be free. i have some things on my agenda:

get a full skin care set – i am already nineteen, i need to start taking proper care of my skin!!! no more being lazy
find out where the ants in my room are coming from. all the doors and windows are closed leh dammit where u be comin from little ma yis??!!
go to korea
take up manual driving lessons 
learn korean 
go homming – i really miss doing yoga. i feel so good after
play touch – i have been meaning to but either the lazy bug got the better of me, or i’ve been working, or i wasn’t welcome. gdi!

if you have noticed, i have been spelling out numbers instead because i got some water into my keyboard so the number keys aren’t working anymore and i rely on the virtual keyboard when i need special punctuation that i get from shift+[number] so i don’t use shift+number punctuations unless absolutely necessary…which explains the lack of !!!exclamation marks!!! in this post which is really uncharacteristic isn’t it. maybe it isn’t tingshan blogging. OR IS IT??

also, i have a new neighbour, with two cute kids called angelina and billy. at first i heard ‘bailey’, which xr and i thought was OMGSOFUCKINKEWL, and that led us to being slightly bummed when we found out that it’s actually billy. nevertheless, they are so cute, billy drew me lots of ice cream today, and angelina looks like she’s going to be gorgeous when she grows up, and i am slightly jealous, this is so retarded i’m frickin’ twelve years older than her. when she’s eighteen and hot and ready to mingle i’d be thirty. OLD HAG WAAAAAAAAH ;_________; nvm i will be milf LAWL k bye friends end of frivolous pointless post that serves no other purpose apart from my need to document my life so that i can look back and laugh some time in the future ~~~

incoherent/pointless recount/note-to-self ahead…also need to get a paying job. fingers crossed, i’ll be interning for two weeks in january and after that i’m free! to travel, get a job that i will enjoy doing. that is very important! 

so i was supposed to go for training this morning. i can still go now i guess but i’m too lazy too heh heh my excuse is that i’m aaaching so badly from hot yoga yesterday (which was fun) but i liked it, i’m going again tomorrow.

spent time with amadea yesterday, catching up, talking about part-time jobs, school, having awesome yong tau foo in the cbd, walking from redhill to town, and walking and eating some more in town pigz4lyfe

feel so *~happz~* lately, so many things happening so much to do so packed everyday. sick of enjoying life? NOT REALLY!!! except soon $ is going to run out soon ahaha i feel like such a useless, leeching prick. 

there’s still so much i want to accomplish though, so many things i have to do within the next 10 days, before 2011 officially comes to a close. i have to be disciplined! i will work on my personal statement on christmas, i promise, or i will never allow myself to go to browhaus ever again. YOU BE MY WITNESS

meeting kyungz in a bit for lunch and all, then off to sarah’s for team outing! haven’t seen my teammies together in sooo long. gonna stay over at her huge castle too whee then the next day i will go for yoga and then catch a movie with yunhui and brittany and back to the Teng’s to see my loverboy ♡

GLUTTONY/PRIDE/ENVY
So last Thursday was Groom Ourselves Day with Kyung Tae. I went to Browhaus, feeling light as a feather, then got yummynomnom from Provence, then went for a pedi at HVSC, then town for make-up shopping and Ramen…and Bubble Tea…ok so it’s Groom and Fatten Ourselves Day. Ramen Ten is pretty good for its price, I had Spicy Tofu Ramen and I want to try Super Spicy Ramen the next time!!! I wanted to buy buy buy buy buy so many things but thank goodness I reined in my impulses hehe

LUST/PRIDE
Friday was awesomesauce, I felt so liberated, so carefree while spending time with Xianrong!!! This feeling ROX MA SOX hehe, went over to XR’s for lunch followed by a long-awaited date in town. It was simple and so carefree…got fruit liqueur at Vom Fass, spent a good few hours (-ish..?) at Prologue doing our own thing, then dinner at Old Town, played Rock Band and Fight Night at Playnation (where I won XR’s Mike Tyson using Mhd Ali =^.^=), ended the night with 50/50 which was a really good movie! I cried when he was going to be put under anesthesia boohoo but it was really sad there was this line that went “how will I know if i’m going to wake up what if i never wake up” (something like that) and that made me feel so much about life, death, the fragility of it all… *shudders*

And Saturday was spent nuaing at home

GREED
Sunday I met my 2 bitchaz J and PJ for an express manicure which was really super express, the manicurists spent like only 10min each on our hands…lol. Also discovered how much my brain had degenerated – 8.90 + 3 = … 10.90! 12.90! No it’s 11.90… Walked around town, did nothing, accompanied them while they ate Ramen, and also helped them eat their Ramen hehe ^^ then we parted ways.

Braved the rain to watch XR get Fight Night Championship at Qishan … which I got owned at the next day despite using Mhd Ali sobz ;_;

GLUTTONY
Met Kyungs and Anni, then took a Bus to Dempsey to meet the M4Mers for dinner at Red Dot, complete with a Tower of Monster Green *v* followed by Ben & Jerry’s. It was a nice gathering :)

WRATH/PRIDE/GLUTTONY
Went over to XR’s for The Fight Night Challenge which I lost miserably pshhht. Mhd Ali’s really slow…and even when I used Mike Tyson I couldn’t win lol no more beginner’s luck POOHOO and being a sore loser, I stopped playing and handed the controller over to Xiancheng -awyeah-

Had gong cha yippee ! !! !!! Golden Ovaltine ~ and Timbre’s Duck Pizza and Arnold’s Fried Chicken which owns KFC’s like one million times because, “it’s kampung chicken”. Don’t mess with the village chicken!!! Timbre’s Duck Pizza was sooo good what the duck really…a pity it was delivery. It must be so much nicer if it’s hot and piping out from the oven at Timbre!!! DROOLZ

I’ve got to start curating a library of useful gifs I can put in my posts hehe so every post will be gif-packed with awesomotionness!

So since A’s have ended, I have

3 Got whatever I needed for prom
4 Signed up for BTT — 26th Jan!!! So far away… ;_; but nevermind I’ll study hard during CNY awyeah
